iang
James, With pre-orders, when do you charge the card used for the order? Cheers, Ian
Jamie @ Sovereign Hobbies
Hi Ian, The software payment gateway charges at the point of order. If you don't want to tie up the funds like that (understandable ) then we do plan to order a few extra for shelf stock. Just trying to avoid too much guess work on a few grands' worth of goods though if you see what I mean. We've had several Hood orders placed in the 2 hours since we created the product listing! I get the impression a number of people are on the edge of their seats for this one
Jamie @ Sovereign Hobbies
We have updated our Hood pre-order listings. The way the Hood funnels issue is going to work is as follows: By default, the Pontos Model HMS Hood set is going to contain photo etched frets for the larger forward funnel and the smaller aft funnel suitable for the Trumpeter kit parts. By exception, we, a dealer, can order sets with one of those frets swapped out for a duplicate of the other. There are not plans for extra funnel frets on sale. To take cognisance of this, we have updated our pre-order listings as follows: Option A - default HMS Hood set with unequal size funnel frets to suit Trumpeter kit:https://www.sovereignhobbies.co.uk/collections/1-200/products/pontos-2300xfx-1-200-hms-hood-1941-detail-up-set-pre-order Option B - HMS Hood set with 2 x frets for the correct size forward funnel (buyer to correct aft funnel size) and fret for smaller aft funnel absent from set:https://www.sovereignhobbies.co.uk/collections/1-200/products/pontos-2300xfx-1-200-hms-hood-1941-detail-up-set-option-b-larger-fwd-funnel-frets-pre-order Option C - HMS Hood set with 2 x frets for the smaller aft funnel (buyer to "correct" forward funnel size) and fret for larger fwd funnel absent from set:https://www.sovereignhobbies.co.uk/collections/1-200/products/pontos-2300xfx-1-200-hms-hood-1941-detail-up-set-option-c-smaller-aft-funnel-frets-pre-order
