Im not building a Corsair at the moment but am building two P-47’s with big honking R-2800’s out front so close. My first build in 11 months, and I am so happy to be back at it. I promise to build at least three Corsair’s next year. Dennis Good one cousin !! I'm going to pay a visit to your big brutes... Pacific Thunderbolts ? What's not to love ??? 1 hour ago, giemme said: You two Corsair maniacs better get ready, I'm about to flood you with questions and requests... Ciao You are most welcome Maestro G !! The more Corsairs, the better !!! I'll try to finish another Corsair this year but, it will depend of my shoulder.... Who knows..... Sanding can perhaps be a good therapy ??? Sincerely. Chris Thank you Chris.... Back at this old project.... Here we are... Next glitch... The problem lie here.... Since I shortened the fuselage.... Baionet cutting to preserve the most of the shape... The joint between the wing and fuselage is now a huge step..... Get the chainsaw out.... Right side okay and done.... Bonus track, the incidence of the wing is now restored.... Then the inlet of the coolers.... Different size and shape.... It is time for me to finish that one.... Started years ago..... I also worked on the RF-86, F-22 and MiG 21.... Not too bad for my first evening back at the bench..... Enjoy modelling gents !!! Aaaaand have fun !! Sincerely. CC
