Dave the Doctor
After a build of 5 months I've finnaly finished this V-bomber, which I've converted into a tanker. Because white is just white this bird was one big color experiment, to bring "life" into the white......enjoy! The kit Different shades of grey to break the white. Preshade And the final result! Simon382
Wow! Stunning finish Dave, very impressive. As for the first pics, I thought you were on the 'What if' route for certain?!?

tonyot
Looks great in the sunshine,......at first I thought that you were going for a Berlin Brigade Valiant Whiff!!! Cheers Tony

CurrantBunbury
Very nice Valiant. To begin with I thought you'd overdone the grey, but in the outside shots you can see it's still white, just a bit lived-in-looking. You've given me ideas for the one I've got, which seems to be working its way one step closer to the top of the build-me-next pile every time I turn my back... albamac
A Valiant effort if I may say so Sir and an interesting painting journey but the finished product is excellent and that's the main thing. Nice to see a 214 Sqn tanker beastie but a 90 Sqn one would just have been as nice. Keep up the excellent work as you have given us a most interesting journey ha ha. Kind regards. alabamac
Overpin
Nice to see someone else building V-force planes, definitely got some good tips looking at your Valiant. I've already built the Vulcan & Victor, so the Valiant would be next in line... As already mentioned, clever idea with the different shades of grey under the white paint! dave665
Like it, like it a lot. Thanks for sharing, especially the way you tackled breaking up the sea of white.
Victory-is-in-the-Kitchen
Very nice. I'll echo Dave665; I like the approach to making the anti-flash more interesting.
WildeSau75
You got this low vis scheme really right - like it. Also nice to see a plane not often seen being build. Cheers, Michael
Head in the clouds.
Cracking idea that, to be honest when I saw that first pic I thought you had lost the plot, it is nice to be proved wrong sometimes, stunning model.
Mark4700
Fantastic result. In the first pic from above the wings reminded me of a Romulan Bird of Prey some how. Of is it just me
