roymattblack
A bit of 'in-between' fun while the bigger stuff gets a rest. An ancient Dinky AC from Ebay for huge money - £2.99 no p/p. A bit of Nitromors, T-Cut on the windows, paint, new tyres and a repro box I made myself. I like giving little old toys a second chance. Simple, cheap fun. Roy. Edited November 19, 2016 by roymattblack
Rubymurray
Fantastic work again Roy, great to see things like this. I had no idea this car existed until a few days ago when I caught an episode of Car SOS and saw a full sized restoration, it looked glorious! roymattblack
That's exactly where this little thingy came from! I watched that prog too, then went on Ebay - found this sad little thing. A week later - sorted. A mini - car SOS. Roy. sennapod
Roy - how do you reassemble the base plate to the body. I've had mixed luck with both rivets & araldite, and also self-tapping screws. What works best for you?
Kiwidave4
Nice one Roy. Heres an original in the alternative grey/red, complete with original price on box!

roymattblack
Thanks lads. A simple bit of fun for anyone - and the wrecks usually only cost a few quid. Fixing the base back on - I just use good old C/A. No probs.

albergman
Nice work Roy and a fun little project I bet. As a young lad I went with friends to a hillclimb here in Canada and was admiring an AC awaiting its turn on the hill. The owner stepped out and offered me the seat. Couldn't believe my good fortune! I was so impressed with that car, a roadster with a Bristol 6 cyl. Frank
stevehnz
Nice save Roy, a pretty little model of one of the prettiest coupes ever to my mind. Thanks for showing yours too Dave, very nice. Steve.
