Slater
Wonder how similar this "F-15QA" will be to the latest Saudi variants?
Giorgio N
The F-15QA order is pretty substantial, people at Boeing will be very happy

But I just can't find myself calling them Boeing. I had a hard enough time when "Douglas" was added to their name. To me, they'll always be McDonnell, that scrappy little shop that rolled out stuff like the Moonbat and the original Phantom right at the end of WWII. And the St. Louis facility will always be McAir. Ah well, life goes on. Cheers, Bill
JohnT
That's a pretty significant number of Airframes too. I can't recall - was the Typhoon ever in the running?
mungo1974
Always great to see more Eagle orders...just a shame the USAF can't afford new ones.
Slater
At one time Qatar was considering a split buy - F-15's for long range strike and Typhoons for interceptor/air defence. Don't know if that's still being floated or not.
