Aftermarket: Eduard PE sets for both the Italeri and Hobby Boss kits

Paint: Mainly Mr Color Lacquers

Scratchbuilt: Door handles, instrument panel, roof lining with ceiling light, pitot tube, tail skid, swash plate and actuators, lights, tail rotor pitch control linkage

Hi All,

This is Orange Roughy now finished. For those who don't know an Orange Roughy is a common New Zealand fish, obviously orange in colour.

Italeri 1/48 scale, Aftermarket additions nil, Decals home printed.

 

 

And here she is bing loaded into Hercules NZ7003 at Christchurch prior to deployment.

Here's my effort, the Special Hobby Bell AH-1Q/S representing an AH-1S s/n 71-21024 of the 503rd Aviation Company, US Army, based at Hanau in Germany but flown at the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Greenham Common in 1979. Nice kit, lovely easy build and I'm very pleased with how it turned out, aside from a bit of silvering on the UNITED STATES ARMY sign on the starboard side.

A really enjoyable build of an older kit, which has some very good detailing for it's age. Definitely not my last of them.

Tamiya 1/72 AH 1W Super Cobra.

Painted in overall grey scheme. 

Decals were all from the kit. Painted using Tamiya spray paints and weathered with Tamiya Panel wash and a pencil for raised painel lines. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fun build and enjoyed using spray paints.
