Which 1/48 Mi-24 Hind cockpit set is better?

I am looking to get a cockpit detail set for my Revell 1/48 Mi-24 Hind, and was wondering which one was better, the Cobra Company set or the Pavla set?

They're about the same price, once you figure in shipping to Florida.

I don't see any cockpit set by CMK, only an armament set, and 2 exterior detail sets.

Understood, Larry. Czech army have this helicopters, so the CMK company does more or less accurataly.

I can't really say much about the accuracy of the Cobra Company set compared to the CMK kit, but i thought the Cobra Company set was pretty nice:

I already had their external detail set, and they just announced a 25% off sale, so I ordered the cockpit set.

A selection of Cobra Company update sets are now marketed by Lone Star Models. Unfortunately, if my memory serves me correctly, it doesn't include any of the MI-24 sets.

Lone Star have bought this year Cobra Company. I ordered from Lone Star twice before but never from Cobra because they did not accept PayPal or Credit Card. At least not when I last tried about 2 years back.

It will however take Mike a bit of time to add the Cobra sets to his webpage and it is not clear which will be relisted first. Good news for me is that international orders will be more easy IMHO.

 

Back to the original question: I am considering the Pavla set as well but would also like to see a bit more info. Can anybody here who has either set post some pics of the parts? The pics on the Cobra Company website were a bit demanding - before the website closed completely. The same goes for the Pavla set pictures on the web.

Mike been getting stuff in slowly and assured me that it will be added to the list as he gets it. Now having said that there been indications that he has the molds also and plans to mold parts as the orders come in. Personally l am waiting for the Ah-1G conversion in 1/48 and a few other parts. He also have some interesting stuff in hus own line as well

can't comment on the Cobra company set and eduard PE, (apart form Cobra company sets being nearly impossible to get, so I did not use them....)
but I used the Pavla cockpit on my Hind build .

 

not the best, but definitely not the worst resin I used ....

photos could be better though looking again at them some years later

Out of interest, did Lone Star reissue the Cobra Company 1:48 Hind cockpit set?

 

I've tried looking on their website, but bad layout has put me off.
