Romanian PZL 23 Karas, Heller 1:72

Recommended Posts

Hi Guies,

inspiered by this Threat:

I would like to show you my interpretation of this lovely Light Bomber. The Kit is from Heller, the Decals are from Technmod, the upper and lower defence MG`s are from Airwaves. Paints are Agama and done by brush.

Hope you like her.

Best regards

Stefan

Very nicely made  Agama paints are wonderful.

It is hard to know how to buy them because Jadar have a very high minimum mailing cost. Sometimes I just need some more Polish Light Blue (like now), but can find no economicsl

way to purchase it.

Anyway, Inwill not go off topic, but to say it really is a lovely clean paint job.

Did you use the kit transparencies? They look very clean and fine on your model.

:goodjob:

"I think I have the same kit in my stash only in the Mister Craft boxing"

Old Thumper, I am sorry, but AFAIK Heller Karas is not reboxed by Mister Craft - inside this box one can find old Polish (originally "RUCH" - from some sixties of XX century) kit which is really very basic...  http://www.mojehobby.pl/products/PZL-23B-KARAS-2923577.html

The another Polsh company - SK Models is reboxing Heller's Karas

http://www.super-hobby.ru/products/item_name-110490.html

And this one is much more nice :)

In the links above one can compare plastic.

Cheers

Thank you Stefan.

I love what it says on their home page:

'Your wife will be mad'

Yes she will :D !

That's the bad news, the good news is I only paid about £3 for it.

Partially good news is that in decals you have a small set of emblems of Polish squadrons from 1939 (but numbers needed to do one of 5 painting schemes are omitted).  There is also a mistake In instruction noticed on a Polish moddeler forum - a side view of Romanian Karas has Polish checkboard on bottom of wing...

Hello A6Intruder!

I must admit that I don't have any knowledge about Polish aircraft,

or Rumanian and so on, but I have to say that your model is outstanding.

You did a great job on it.

Congratulations. Polo.:goodjob::wow::clap2:

Agama's Polish Light Blue matches RLM 76.
