Watcher
Watch out leaving that masking on for a long time - might damage the paintwork underneath.
Christer A
I suspect there'll be huge amounts of paint fumes in December then. Looks like a lot of interesting projects!

Hello, The best way to dilute fumes is a good belgian beer. I use to have a good Chimay (the blue one) as I'm modelling. Then you're cleaned up from any toxicity, or at least, you no longer feel it Sincerely. Corsaircorp
corsaircorp
Gotcha ! I did'nt buy the compressor I was dreamin' about, but this one will fit the job. So the fumes are back ... Only when my wife is not at home. Did anyone has same problem ??? Sincerely Corsaircorp
Christer A
Yep! I did one test with airbrushing enamels (in the bottom floor, 4 floors down), but since the fumes lingered for a week in the whole house. Quite soon after that I switched to acrylics... But I have serious ideas of testing tamiya Lacquer thinner, and Mr Paint!
corsaircorp
Hello, Thanks, I'll try these ones. For this while, I'm engulfed in brit models, and I use the Xtracrylics, IMHO the best matching paints for brit camo. And I use the Xtracrylic thinner. I still have some enamels but very specific ones and I scarcely use it. When I'm making some resin parts, it is worst Sincerely. TheBaron
That photo looks like a Davis-Monthan AFB diorama at present. Hope you're enjoying that new compressor. Tony
