kpnuts
Hi all well as some light relief I'm going to build this, obviously me being me it will look nothing like the box art and will be built as relief from my other builds as and when I feel the need for a break, so build progress will be sporadic, trust me though I don't think it will be recognised as what it is when finished.
Dr. Fiat
I built this one while I was in college in 1986. It goes together really nicely, and with a little paint here and there, it is an extremely realistic kit. Enjoy!!! Darin
kpnuts
Yep I built it a little while ago and enjoyed it so much I decided to give it another go. I've done the Honda 750 4 twice also, they really are great kits, I'm mulling around another idea for the 750 so it may get built thrice.

kpnuts
Hi all here is the next update, I've lengthened the rear swingarm, quite pleased with it. Also dechromed the engine and sprayed it black, lots of weathering to do on this one, going to be quite a challenge as I don't normally do desert weathering. kpnuts
Hi all well I've weathered the engine and swing arm, I'm quite pleased with it as I've not done desert weathering before, needs a bit more depth but I think it's a good starting place.
CrazyCrank
Bikers clean meticulously their bikes after each long run, especially those who own, as me, a custom bike...We don't like to see them dirty. Personally, without beeing a maniac of cleanness, my engine, swingarm, lenses, mudguards etc, are as shining and clean, as they wre, barely out the factory, nine years ago However, very nice work, and I stay stuck on this thread Edited November 5, 2016 by CrazyCrank
kpnuts
I think if you had been through a nuclear melt down and there was nothing but desert all around you, you may think differently, I am talking of course of the film mad max, which is where this bike is set. CrazyCrank
Cannot wait to see your bike achieved. Very realistic dirty engine and tires, but shock absorbers seem too clean, IMHO Very nice job
kpnuts
I agree just put them on to see if anything fouled or if the mud guard was going to look OK (wasn't sure how it would look with the extended swing arm thought maybe i might have to lengthen that) so didn't do ant weathering of them got lots of work on the front forks to do, still not sure whether to use the light faring or just leave the light frame without it also undecided whether to leave the front mud guard on or off, if I do use it I think I will be adding a few more spikes . depressed lemur
The term "Rat Bike" springs to mind. A very effective build, the weathering and damage is perfect.

kpnuts
Hi all well I've got the forks round the right way and added the foot pegs and a few other ancillary devices on the last leg now. Not sure what to do about weapons.
