Anyone got one of these with a dodgy set of decals?

The red on my set is very poor, almost like the printer was running out of ink - roundels not filled right up to the blue, the red in the 23 Sqn flashes again not fully complete, and the red stencilling and fuel tank markings incomplete.

For me it's nothing I don't have additional decals I can use as replacements, but just wondered if this is just a one off, or is there a bad batch of decals.

when I saw "printed in Italy I assume that these were printed by Cartograph. But perhaps not.

The rest of the decals look good but the pink/blue decals are unusable IMHO. Revells customer support has been good (for me) in the past. I'd be going for replacement

In the lower left corner of the decal sheet you find the reg number of the kit . To the right of this number there is either a letter "c" or "z" .   "c" is Standing for Cartograf, "z" for Zanchetti.

The missprint of the decal is not acceptable. Please, email Revell. The production management is aware of the problems in quality Control. I am almost sure there will be a reaction.

A corrected new decal sheet is currently at the printers and will be available soon. At the moment I cannot tell how this new sheet can be purchased by modellers who have already bought the kit.

Interesting information, but how many kits are in the first batch and released?.....Purchased?, surely its a replacement free of charge....I've e-mailed my complaint to Revell.

My kit arrived today but the decals with the Z suffix have black smudges in several places.

A shame really, but it's not Number 1 on the runway.

I've already written to Revell Service Dept.

Regards

Tony

My kit turned up today, I have only had a quick look over it but it looks really nice. And luckily the decals are fine. Don't panic if you have a poor set, I'm sure Revell will get it sorted, their customer services are top notch.
