Any idea about what schemes will be provided in the box?

Looks like a couple of 111 Sqn schemes, a special and a line aircraft.

So ZE159, the special 111 bird...

A regular 111 is a possibility, but I wouldn't claim that based on the picture of the box art: when they announced the GR.4, they used a picture of the 617 anniversary jet, but that didn't materialize. Hopefully we get 2 different squadrons for the F.3! 🙏🏻

According to the Revell website the decal options are ;

Panavia Tornado F.3, No. 111 Squadron, Royal Air Force, Leuchars, England, July 2002
- Panavia Tornado F.3, No. 23 Squadron, Royal Air Force, Leeming, England, October 1990

Spot the error in decal option #1

I would think the market would be flooding with aftermarket decals?

And there are so many to choose from , despite a few dull and anonymous periods the F.3 carried some great marking schemes both in regular squadron markings and special schemes.

Pre ordered 2 from Jumblies.

I already have 23 squadron's blue & red chevron arrow decals. :-)

I have also got a plan to maybe use an IDS kit and an F3 kit to make an F2.

The left over bits could make a GR5 what-iff?  Lol

Their website states 4 Skyflash missles which you can make out in the stack of sprues in one photo.

Hi Shaun,

The differences in the front and rear are respected ! Though there are some compromises.

I was referring to the corrections needed to the kit, wing sweep angle, how too assemble the wings, tail fin too wide at tip, heavy detail on tailerons etc..What compromises do you know of?

And lets not forget that the Italian Air Force produced one or two nice specials during the types brief service with the Aeronautica Militare and one of their Unit's connection with the NATO Tiger Association in the late 1990s, early 2000s.

The decals for the 1/48th Airfix EF-3, were not too bad if you can find a set?

Mine are on their way from Jumblies...

Just had a look though the stash and I have 3 IDS Revell kits, 2 GR4 & 2 F3 kits on the way, with aftermarket decals for 18 aircraft including 3 HaHen sets.

May be time to start building! lol
