Popped to HMW last weekend for a few paints and also bagged an Airfix 1/72 F-86F/E(M) Sabre.

Ok. How many of you read that as HMV, and thought ‘I didn’t realise HMV sold model kits!’

An indubitable proof I'm not as good at cleaning an airbrush as I thought: a small ultrasonic cleaner. I began some tidying up of my worktable with a Hobbyzone "Tools and brushes" module. Great stuff, reasonable price. I will get more of these.... when my wi banker will have fully recovered from last month credit card statement.

Definition of an intellectual book:

the one that is staying in my bookshelf longer than a biplane still waiting for its rigging.

That's often the way isn't it? Someone who writes well usually has the ability to create a memorable title as well. I'm off to have a look at it myself as that title is so good.

BTW. Have you read Adam Robert's Yellow Blue Tibia

https://www.theguardian.com/books/2009/jan/10/yellow-blue-tibia-roberts-review

Thoroughly enjoyable Soviet alt.history....

I've got that somewhere and read it a few years back.  It was good but simply trailed off, with no real ending.

Sold some kits and used the proceeds to buy a Badger 105 airbrush. I have a couple other Badgers (175 and a SOTAR) and like them, and the 105 seems to have a lot of the qualities I like in the two brushes I have, but combined in one.

A Fujimi Westland Wasp on E. Bay USA for a bargain price. Even with shipping costs, it was cheaper than having a bidding war on UK E. Bay.:)

This was what it looked like when I walked to the train this morning:

But I guess you have all those blue-collar space aliens living in internment camps where you are, so we're even.
