willciviceg5
I bought my nephew a model kit a few months back which he assembled by himself and very strangely took care of and didn't break in bits apart from the rear glass engine cover. They are a very simplified kit and are lacking in detail but for a kid of his age it was ideal. He cornered me recently and said he wanted it painted blue so I took the chance to detail it while I was at it I fully stripped it down, detailed the full interior, painted the glass, added projectors to the headlamps, detailed the engine and chassis, stripped the chrome off the wheels and painted black, prepped the body then painted metallic blue and laqured. 2 hours later (the quickest build I have ever done) and I was left with this.
roymattblack
Lovely one! Hardly think it was a snap-fix. You might find that a heavy coat of Klear on the rear screen - both sides - pretty much loses the crack... Roy.
keefr22
That looks great, difficult to believe what the base kit was! Lovely paint colour & finish, & those wheels look so much better in black! Hope your nephew is suitably chuffed! Great work! Keith
