SeaVenom
I don't know if A Model have improved but their kits from recent years like the Vampire have been a bit rough. That looks impressive there though.

Flankerman
I would have thought there was a clue in the page heading on the Greenmats Club that Homebee linked to..... AModel JRM Martin Mars 1/72 - тестовая сборка Ken
occa
I just compared it to photos of the real thing, The prop bosses together with the variable pitch gear boxes actually look that way like depicted in the kit so I was likely wrong ... I am looking forward to the kit anyway, I have a high interest to buy one ...

Learstang
Strong is correct; I truly believe you could build a house out of that fibreglass-resin that Amodel use. Thank you very much Radleigh for making this model possible! Next would you please start a Contrail Vickers Virginia or Valentia? Best Regards, Jason P.S. Having a look at this, it appears the wings and fuselage are made of Amodel's indestructible fibreglass-resin, with IM plastic floats, horizontal tail planes, engines, propellers, and cockpit insert. Pretty usual for their big kits. Edited October 24, 2016 by Learstang Additional information added.
Kevin Callahan
And another large model unkitted in 1:72 bites the dust! Looks good. But where is my injected C-124?

general melchett
Wonderful stuff, having built several Amonsters myself I can only agree with Ken that basic modelling skills are what's required plus a good supply of wet 'n' dry and a fair bit of bench space........now come on Amodel how about a SARO Princess
Radleigh
I've died and gone to heaven, so good!!!!!!!!!!! I have enough projects on the go, a few large ones too, but sod it... there will be another!
Learstang
I agree with the good General on this one, we definitely need a SARO Princess now. Still, I do love to see Amodel (and their twin Modelsvit) go after these huge kits in 1/72nd scale, whatever the exact subject. Who knows, maybe after the Princess, Amodel will treat us to a BV-238? I'm not intimidated by the size, but i am at a loss as to what tools i need in order to file, sand..... generally massage the AModel fiberglass in order to get the same results i get with polystyrene. I will be watching this one with interest. -d-
