HP42
Just watching FR and FR13 EMA to Prestwick has been doing circuits for 3 hours. I'm guessing it's had a problem on takeoff and is burning fuel. It's done numerous passes over the runway at low altitude presumably to let the tower look at something. Still in air at 12.57. Any ideas? Edited October 19, 2016 by HP42 Clarification...
Jonners
Or, alternatively, doing circuits for pilot training, as seemed to be the case while I was on the ground at EGNX this morning...

stringbag
It was the 737-700 used as a corporate/training aircraft I understand.
Jonners
The 'Tango' suffix on the callsign made its purpose pretty clear, as did leaving the circuit for an in-flight crew change. Nothing sinister or dramatic.

HP42
As Columbo used to say; 'Just one more question...'. Why is Prestwick the destination airport if EMA was the start and finish point?
