razzie43
I buy 2 boxen of tamiya with a mistake in scale (100% sure for now) After Francis tell me that the size of M10 was bigger then the rest of my collection usa. I start to compare with all my type's of hull's of a sherman -Priest/M4a1/M4A3 and all those are the same wheels and size of the hull. Except that M10/M36 model of tamiya. Wheels are bigger and size is longer.... Here is my M10 in scale 1/30??? Thank you Francis, now i have to buy another M10/36 for my collection (this time no more cheap tamiya models for me)
Dads203
It looks like it's the Tamiya old boxing you built of the M10 and not the brand new release that's only been out a few months. http://www.tamiya.com/english/products/35350/index.htm
JackG
Yes, I've read the older boxing is closer to 1/31 scale, while the turret size is about right for 1/35. So this makes it look not only out of scale, but the final build does look out of sorts. regards, Jack
celt
Never mind what scale it is, you have done a bang up job, tidy mun.
FrancisGL
Oops sorry dude you have to buy another M-10 ... lol, so I see Tamiya, in their old kits, goofed enough with scales, perhaps because models "motorized" had to put the motor and batteries, etc ... I have a T62, and also what I read is "1/3 @ # th ..", but for the price, you can get a pretty good result, and if you are (I not, sigh ...) capable, you can modify the mistakes ...
