1/72 Eduard Fw190 a-5 Hermann Graf

Recommended Posts

Afternoon all. Here is my Eduard Fw190 a-5 which I built for the FW190 GB. It's a super kit that fits well apart from the main undercarraige which is kind of vague fitting. The kit decals are excellent although I did mess up the 'tulip' decal on the cowling and had to replace it with an old Hasegawa decal. Painted with Gunze acrylics.

A great build . I first heard of this aircraft and it's pilot when reading Pierre Closterman's well known book "The Big Show".  The author claims that the 190 was painted Yellow (doubtful) and that due to the sound of his voice over the R/T, Graff was known  to the R.A.F as "Donald Duck". I have the ancient Hasegawa kit with these markings in the stash.

  Well Done,  Trev.

Hermann Graf's Focke-Wulf Fw-190 is always a great subject

with its "tulip" artwork on the cowling.

And you did her (or it?) justice with this great model!

Bravo.:clap2:
