Alpha Delta 210
Hello I have just returned from an excellent five-day assignment with the Centre of Aviation Photography to Poland. We visited the fascinating WZL2 overhaul facility at Bydgoszcz, followed by two days embedded with the awesome Su-22 Fitters at Świdwin, and then one day with the incredible Mi-14 Haze helicopters of the Polish Navy at Darłowo. Here are some of my favourite images from the first three days. I have posted the Haze pictures in a separate thread. Bydgoszcz: Świdwin: And in much more "challenging" weather conditions on day two: Thanks for looking.
Parabat
Superb pics, the one of the pilot reaching up to the nose cone reminds me of Cold War pictures. Thanks for sharing these great pics.

Latinbear
A superb set of images there! Love the moody looking clouds behind the Fitters and the strobe lights are a great capture.

Muzz
Great shots, thanks for sharing. As far as grey camo schemes go it's growing on me, will never look as good as they do in the legacy scheme but it's an attractive look. Muzz
Jbbusybee
Great pics, my favourite is the pilot sitting in the cockpit, face partially obscured with the lines of the airfield behind. Looking forward to seeing more. Thanks for sharing.
Alpha Delta 210
Thanks for the kind words, chaps. It was an amazing experience to be around these incredible Cold War warriors (despite the grim weather on Wednesday!) I won't be able to upload any more pictures to this thread or upload the Haze pictures until next weekend.

Alpha Delta 210
Thanks guys. I think that the grey camo makes the jets look so much younger - as if they have had a nip and tuck!

I'm thinking of repainting my kit in the newer color scheme and any pictures from different sides would help greatly! Thanks! Alpha Delta 210
Hi Screech I have reviewed my images from the two days, and unfortunately, the only grey two-seater that was on the line was "509". I have identified a few different images of "509" that might be of use to you. As a matter of interest, the grey single-seaters did not have identical camouflage patterns to each other.

Alpha Delta 210
Thanks to all for the kind words. It was a great experience to be so close to these venerable Cold War warriors in their natural habitat! @Screech. Glad the additional shots of "509" were useful to you. I look forward to seeing your reconditioned grey two-seater in RFI soon! Here are a few more of my favourite images. I hope you like them.

I'm thinking a new set of Goodyears might be needed soon!
