PattheCat
I'm VERY happy. Kudos Airfix. Now a 1/48 Gladiator and a Battle (any scale), please. Thanks for sharing the good news Stan.
Seahawk
In accordance with Fleming's 2nd Law of Modelling (or was it the First?): what a waste. Pity it's not in 1/72.
Work In Progress
I am highly in favour of that. Perfect scale for the aeroplane.

Bigglesof266
I am really excited about this one. Airfix will take my money on this in 1/48. Perfect scale.
Rob G
And about time, too. An unpretty workhorse that gave sterling service. Hopefully, it'll be redone in 72th as well, because the extant models in the small scale are workable, but in need of replacing.
Artie
Maybe the best thing I've heard this year (regaring modelling, of course).....A 1/48 Fairey Seafox would be a great subject, too..... Kudos to Airfix.....!!!!!!

johnny akes
Excellent news! Only pity is that Airfix don't do 1/32, but as my shelves are pretty much full I probably need to downscale anyway...
DaveCromie
Wow. Did anyone outside of Airfix see this coming? I might be be tempted to this but if it was in 1/72 I would definitely hand over my hard earned cash. Can't wait to see how this turns out. neilh
OK, no doubt there is still room for me to completely stuff something up building this once its released but its got to be easier than the CA one? Especially with the Airfix designers skill with clever engineering kits nowadays. Absolutely the case with the Airfix vs CA Hurricane ( don't ask me how I know- I'll swear in a public forum). Tail-Dragon
Nice to see this - but what about a 1/48 Spitfire Mk XIVe ? Come on Airfix, your almost there with your Mk XIX ! Colin

Paul J
I'm happy about this one too. Maybe a 48th Tiger Moth in the range would be more than just as pleasing too!
stever219
I can't believe that the H*p*r*c*l* mob haven't covered the CAD renderings in red lines and declared the kit fatally flawed and terminally unbuildable yet. Well done Airfix: I've been vacillating over the Classic Airframes-cum-Special Hobby kit for ages. Now I don't have to. No faffing about with resin, vac form canopies or hacking bits about to make 'em fit. I cannot wait for this one, but I suppose I'll have to.......
