modelglue
Hello, I am looking at the Airfix and Italeri Hawk options in 1/72 and want to do the a Canadian jet in the long nose version. I keep seeing schemes referring to the "NFTC" and think I might start into a collection of involved aircraft. Is Leading Edge the only game in town for these decals? Flyboy72nd
Go with the Airfix kit there are some problems with the Italeri tail section. I'm not sure if the NFTC - NATO Flight Training Center is world wide if not you only really have 3 a/c to build!? The Grob light trainer, although I think they have upgraded to something else, the Texan II & the Hawk. I do believe Caracal has plans to down scale his Hawk stuff to 72nd, you can always go to his section on ARC and bug him to do this!! There used to be a GB here on the Hawk and you could find mine and someones else IIRC. I used Model Art decals which are long OOP which is too bad because they were fantastic, it took me 3 days to do the decalling!!! HTH
