Ignacio
Hi Fellow modellers! This time I´ll show you one of my recent builds. It´s the little Zvezda Mig-21 Bis in 1/72. It has Kuivalainen PE, Pavla seat, Master pitot and Lift Here decals (wich are very good). I´ve also added some details in the landing gear. It´s a very nice kit, a little thick on the details but improved a lot with the aftermarkets. It only lacks a nice canopy, It´s too thick and distorted. It represents an airplane flown by cuban pilots for the Angolan Air Force in the 80´s in the conflict with South Africa. I hope you like it and all comments are welcomed! best regards from Uruguay Ignacio

That seat...when I stared at the instruction for the photoetched belts, I almost quit! I've combined the resin seats with the PE for the belts. I'm glad you like it!!! Pauly Boy
Great subject, great MIG ! Love these kind of off the beaten track subjects! I've been planning on building a MIG 23 with Angolan markings myself. Hope you continue with more African aircraft. Once again, great build! Ignacio
Thanks to everyone! About the instrument panel, it comes painted! Kuivalainen PE are Eduard made, but I don´t know why Eduard doesn´t offer this set. About the seat, I like to combine resin with PE seatbelts, it looks more tridimensional for me. Thanks for your kind words again! Best regards. Ignacio

albamac
Hola Ignacio, The overall MiG 21 package is superb, from finish to the superb cockpit and ejection seat. We don't see enough African Air Forces subjects in my opinion so more of your nice work would be great. Best regards. albamac (Frustrated Norseman)
