Spider web effect

Masked up a MiG-27 using blue tack sausages and masking tape. 

 

Base colour is model master 2129 green. Then did the masking and sprayed tamiya X-9 brown. It happened while I was spraying the brown. 

 

I am am wondering if the general purpose thinner I am using has reacted in some way with the blue tack?.

The reason is usually because you have thinned the paint too much. It usually requires trial and error, but try to aim for the consistency of skimmed milk and you won't go far wrong.
