Geschützwagen VI 21cm

Trumpeter - Nr. 01540 - 1:35 (2010)

Hi modellers,i'm new here and this is my first attempt to post here on this forum.

Kit is from Trumpeter scale 1/35 with alot of sinkholes on it!!

Next update on the canon;start with a mixed color of yellow sand and white to become a very light sandcolor.

Sponge technique and paintbrush :add some "dark camoflage brown" and some "white" mixed with one drup of "sand yellow".

After that pigments of "light rust" + "Dark rust" in the corners below.

That's the result :

The upper hull?

Start with panzer grey color and add some brown colors, chipped with a sponge and brush.

The inside of the tank...i use several red and brown colors to become a basic.

Ferrari red + drybrush it with 27003 from humbrol + black wash to become this :

The Friul tracks ATL 92 price (30 euro) + some blue Ak metal burnishing fluid  (15 euro)

how longer you keep them in the blue water,how darker they become.

Weight of tracks 250 grams/536 completed :)

When i start on this one i didn't know where it gonna ends...

First time i try pigments and oil paint together, and it was a big surprise for me..

It's Always a challenge when you try something new....

If you don't try u never know....and those books can tell just 20% of the paintproject u become!!
