malpaso Posted September 26, 2016 Share Posted September 26, 2016 I think the "Overseas" presentation aircraft was an early BE2c, so would need different exhaust to that in the Airfix kit, as well as the skid type undercarriage. Photos of it appear in several books. It wasn't at Telford, I'm told (by my mate who went looking), and it doesn't show up on the Hannants web site (which shows that they carry Avalon). I have a BE2C almost melting in anticipation ... You might be able to use the Airfix RE8 Belgian decals - roundel diameters should be ok and the rudder stripes should trim down to fit. There will be plenty of spares around - I've got loads!
