martinBK
1/48 scale Kingtiger from Tamiya with Hauler photo-ecthed parts, Attack Zimmerit and Friul tracks. Figures (far from perfect) are from Tamiya too. Built by a friend of mine.
celt
This was a beast of tank and your model conveys just that.Tidy. Do you know if that Zimmerit actually worked or was it purely psychological?
martinBK
As far as I know, the Zimmerit was a REAL non-magnetic cover for the tank.

PlaStix
That is truly superb! The tank and setting are really impressive! Did you use proprietary foliage and ground cover or did you make it yourself? If it was the former could you please let me know where you got it from because it looks fantastic. Beautiful work! Kind regards, Stix

martinBK
As far as I remember the tree was scratchbuild, the plants came from laser cut items (Kamisukuri and / or JS work). Some real small stones and plants are also used. I must say he's very skilled. More dioramas to come soon. Problem being the Allies didn't use magnetic mines, so the Germans stop using Zimmerit.
