But I now have a hard decision of what to have as my big build this year, this, a full detail mp4/4 or a Ferrari race truck with the trailer interior added.

Shaun

Truck! Something completely different.

Finally, photobucket let me up-load and display!

This is what the postie delivered the other day:

NewCars_0001_zpss9jxbeil.jpg

After I built a FIAT 500 for my daughter, I thought 'Why not get one for myself?'. Here it is.

And I am waiting for the opportunity to try this out... I have a few vehicles with 'chrome' parts. Let's see what it's like.

Cheers, Alan.

Italeri Transit Mk2.

Watch a space somewhere for conversion bits ^_^ May as well jump on the wagon!

Nice I've been thinking about getting one of these for a while now but can't think of what scheme to do it as. Also just seen italeri are just about to bring out the mk2 escort.

This little fujimi Porsche 917 addiction I have is getting beyond a joke now, just managed to pick one up off eBay that I didn't have for a very fair price.

Two more kits ended up on my front door mat this afternoon. Firstly a Heller Citroen 2CV in large scale 1/43rd! This version is the grooved bonnet design of 1938.

The other was a resin kit, sent from Oz on the 16th May landing here in the UK today the 24th May, only 8 days on economy shipping! This kit is of the '60's custom Uncertain 'T' produced by Monogram many moons ago. Now cast by ResinBlob64 or Glenn Polkinghorne.

So a complete kit, not a transkit with other parts to source.

A Tamiya 1/6 Honda Africa Twin and a 1/12 Brach 125 Morbidelli twin. Now I am broke for the rest of the year!!

Excellent! Please post a work-in-progress for both. I'm sure the bike nuts on here will appreciate them. I will, especially as it's a new Tamiya 1/6 kit and the Morbidelli is an unknown bike (and kit maker) to me.

Hope your wallet recovers soon.

When you say conversion bits, what do you mean?

Decals?

Resin bits to make a camper version for example, or a flat-bed or tipper, long-wheelbase version ....  the options are endless.

Exciting.

I bought this when it was a ESCI release however many years ago that was!

Look forward to hearing more.

Cheers, Alan.

I usually don't build bikes but I found this one at a flea market, had not seen it before and thought it looked interesting. I hope it will come together more easily than the Vincent Black Shadow I built because it was a nightmare.

Just picked up the new belkits 2016 vw polo wrc from hiroboy. From what I've seen it's a really nice kit.

Also grabbed some petter solberg 2013 rally cross decals for a Heller ds3 and 2008 monte rally decals for Citroen c4 last night from grandprixmodels for a rally good price as they have a mini sale on at the moment.

A l

Slight amendment.

Just now I picked up one of the kits off my list for an incredibly cheap price compared to others I've been offered or seen. Tamiyas leyton house.

So I may be in the dog house slightly now as the new late season McLaren mp4/31 has just become available on hiroboy.com at under £50 (cheapest in the UK at the moment) so I had to buy it with the option decals.

Picked up the Italeri reissue of the old Esci Mk2 Escort today at E-models in Stoke . It might be rubbish but It's still all we've got in 1/24 . Decals are worthless though- they're for Hannu Mikkola's car on the 1979 Monte & the kit bears far less resemblance to that than it does to any other Group 4 Escort .

Just ordered one off e-bay. I have no idea why other than the faint hope that if Belkits see it selling well they may think it worth doing a new tool! Despite selling off more than half my stash of Esci/Revell issues I still have 7, errr 8 now, of the things...!!

Last week a Fujimi 1/24 911 997 GTR also arrived off e-bay. Again I have no idea why seeing as I have only finished one car model in the last decade! Some daft idea of making it as a fairly implausible tarmac stage rally car...!! Looks nice in the box...

Apparently this month I'm not caring about saving money or the important things like the mortgage and car payments.

Just picked up a fujimi williams fw14b with camel decals from eBay for a steal. But the next one was quite expensive but decided It would go nicely with the McLaren mp4/31, so as bsmodels.be are having a summer sale I picked up a monopost Mercedes w07 Japan/Abu Dhabi gp car.
