Mosquito Two Stage Merlin in 1/48th.

This may have been asked before : CMK and Valom have conversions for the Mossie. Does anyone have any experience of these ?

Both those sets are seriously inaccurate.

The only accurate 1/48 aftermarket set was the Paragon one, long out of production and now very hard (and expensive) to track down. Working with the Airfix kit parts is probably currently the most cost-effective route to something vaguely reasonable.

And as you will see from that thread there is hope that Alleycat will make sets available at some point.

If you don't mind switching to 1/72, Blackbird Models do a good set for the Tamiya kit

Aeromaster did a set of nacelles as well, but IIRC they were for the Monogram kit.

JasonC here on Britmodeller did some late last year which are great. I got a set off him, if he has anymore, I'd highly recommend getting some.
