Brad
Yes, the Pacific Coast Models Macchi 202 which I'm currently building for a Group Build over on Large Scale Planes....what a nightmare of a kit, I should have built my Sabre!
NAVY870
HK Mark 4 Meteor. Sprung for all the PE and a new set of FMP intakes. Useless piece of bat excrement fought me all the way until I had it just about ready for paint and the flipping fuselage split apart for the umpteenth time. It was duly struck off charge and converted to components. I have a second in the stash with the FMP Mark 8 conversion, I strongly doubt I'll waste my time getting it out of the box. goggsy
Blimey, that's going to be striking looking. Tbh I really hate decalling so that would be my worst nightmare but I salute your effort. It's a unique scheme, no doubt about that.

upnorth
As far as model kits go, the Classic Airframes 1/48 Northrop F-5 Freedom Fighter fits the category. I bought it when I still lived in Canada. I bought a nice set of nice Canadian decals by Leading Edge for it at the same time and found out quickly enough that the kit wasn't worthy of them. I got a few parts together with much fuss and frustration before it went back in the box and has remained untouched since. "Limited Run" wasn't a good enough excuse for that kit's shortcomings at the price it came at. Average to below average resin even by the standards of the period it was released, short shots and sink marks in the styrene nose to tail, proportional and detail inaccuracies abounded. The model and decals remain stored in a box at my mom's place in Canada. Next time I'm there, I'll dig out the decals and bring them back to Europe with me and hope they're still in good enough shape to use on the newer Kinetic 1/48 F-5 kit. Zaggy
I managed to dodge that Marriage Bullet... Was engaged, but damn; this one was f@*#ing mental (more mental than average!) - no idea what I was thinking. Then I came to my senses...But to follow through, and to do it TWICE; jeez Mark.... You're one brave or crazy soul!Dan
Bear Paw
Roden SE5a 1/48 scale son of a gun. I started with the cockpit sprayed the base coat from a can and then onto an acrylic top colour when the airbrush started to splutter. Cleaned up the mess painted it again - closed up the fuselage primed the bottom wings and fuselage and then went for the the British green using Tamiya paint. The airbrush splatters all over the kit and the paint drys quickly and I take the primer off the kit trying to clean off the mess. I lost the will to live by this time - parts of this kit is in my spares box. SE5a 1 - me 0 Edited September 12, 2016 by Bear Paw
Phantome
1/72 Xtrakit Sea Harrier FA.2 Actually on the verge of finishing it. It is the most awful kit I have ever done and can't believe I was suckered into buying it because it was only like £6 at Duxford.
