WEM enamel and Model Master paints, UK purchasing

Hi guys,

Can anyone recommend some UK shops/online to get these paints? I've found a few for Model Master but always nice to find any more (a lot of the colours are sold out on the ones I can find). I cannot find any selling WEM, though 'Colourcoats' does seem to be available and not sure if these are the same thing.

Looking mainly for the US spec FS enamels from these brands as from what I hear they seem to be spot on.

for WEM, try Sovereign Hobbies,as, they acquired the rights when WEM quit the Uk

Hi David,

Colourcoats are us. We acquired all of WEM's stock and rights to the paint range, set up a business, established new manufacturing relationships with the original factory and are very much here for the long term

The only thing related to Colourcoats paint that we didn't buy was the White Ensign Models brand name which was sold to California where the PE parts are now sold from, so whilst we're happy that the paints have a superb reputation already made, you won't find any reference to "WEM" any more because we are legally unrelated

Thank you for the info, I had heard something along these lines but now confirmed! I just saw the post about the new German RAL colours being added to range soon, finally some readily available RAL matched paints , look forward to giving them a go too!

We've had a few bites from these ones. They just need label graphics sorted out and printed. We're too busy readying for this weekend's show to get them all ready beforehand though.
