Having more than a few sheets in the stash I can recommend both the product and service. Chris.
halcyonjet
Hi, yes, the Airfix kit of the Boeing 727-200 does come with Air canada and Alitalia decals. Airfix have issued a decent kit of the Airbus A300B on several occasions, and can currently be found under the Skyline brand at Hannants (SKY14402B). Other 1/144 kits you might come across that are suitable for Alitalia decals are; Minicraft DC-8-63 (easily cut down to a -62 version) Airfix Caravelle or Mistercraft Caravelle (available at reasonable prices on ebay) Zvezda Airbus A321 (excellent kit). Jessica
Alitalia operated a very diverse fleet over the years. The current fleet makeup is A319, 320, 321, 330, 777-200ER, 777-300ER. The 76-300ER and MD-82 were just recently retired. The "Old" Alitalia (before reorganisation) also included ATR 72, ERJ 145, ERJ 170, MD-11, A300, 727-200, 747-100, DC-9 30, DC-8 62, DC-10, and Sud Caravelle. All these types wore the broad green cheatline through the windows. Prior to the green scheme, the blue pinstripe scheme was worn by the Avro Lancastrian, CV 240, CV 440, C-46, DC-3, DC-4, DC-6, DC-7C, DC-8 43, 62, F-27, SM-95, Sud Caravelle, and Vickers Viscount. 737-200Cs were operated by Alitalia Cargo The Welsh A321 came with Alitalia markings when my kit was released, and one release of the Airfix 747 did as well. Kits for most of these aircraft can be found fairly easily, and decals for most of the current fleet can be had from 26 Decal, Fdcal, and Flying Colors.
