gluefinger
Hi All, I usually post over on the aircraft section. I just came across a couple of 1/600 Leander kits I was given years ago, and want to give 'em a whirl. Basic question is this: Since Model Master and Tamiya are the two most prevalent paints available here in Canada, what colour comes the closest to matching modern RN grey? I'd consider ordering from White Ensign but, we've got a postal workers strike looming in the next week or so. And with the bags of Tamiya and MM I've got kicking around, who knows I may not have to buy anything. Thanks as always for any input. Dave

Paul E
For my model of Phoebe (http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234978918-hms-phoebe-1600-airfix-kit-conversion/) I used Humbrol 127 which is a very close approximate to RN topsides grey. I hope this helps. Paul
