Mildenhall/Lakenhaeth visit

Hi all,

Got some time off work in September (the 2 middle weeks) and I am thinking of paying RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath a visit to see whats flying around. Does anyone know if any exercises or visitors are planned for that time frame and where the best places are to park up and do a bit of spotting.

Saturdays at the moment, you get RC-135 movements, and a C-5. I was there a few Saturdays ago and got 3 visiting KC-135's, a KC-10 (on the Thurs), C-5 and the Kazakhstan An-72/Casa but they won't be back any time soon

Got a trip into Mildenhall tomorrow, so I will see what I can pick up. Weird, on base I can only photograph the 100 ARW birds, but go to John's field and I can photograph everything.

A couple of marine Ospreys came in this evening, not sure how long they're here for but you might be lucky enough to catch them
