Borisz
Hi Guys! This is my actual project, a rescue Daulphin. As You can see, the base is the Revell (ex-Matchbox) "SA-365 Dauphin II". As usual, the kit provide us some hard hours to make something bearable. My goal is to upgrade the kit to this configuration: For this, I have to create a winch, a search light, some antennas, a pair of holes on the fusalage, and a new interrior. And here I am right now. Borisz
Ahoy! I hardly had a little time to the contruction, but I feel I must show you some shots. So this is my progress for now. New whee bays, reinforced structure on the right for the winch and also the winch, totaly scratch built search light to the other side. The rails for the sliding door in still progress. Also I have to finich the two collectives and I'd like to make some blankets and fire extinguishers. And maybe a backpack or whatever. heloman1
Interesting choice, as it's not at all a good kit but then there lies the challenge. I do like the use of foil for the rear gear bay doors. Colin
Borisz
Hi there! Somehow I just had no time to continue the building, so its going on realy slowly. However its a nice subject and a mercyfull kit, still noone provide any upgrade or conversion sets. Anyway, this is my progress so far: In my oponion this is a finished cockpit. I wanted to full-fill the whole space but i gave it up here. "Mind the gap!" And more fitting problems, but actually I expected them... Some Epokitt was added, but I am sure I need more. Also Revell's Plasto filler is used at the halves. Edited July 11, 2017 by Borisz
Borisz
Hello ladies and gents! This is how its going on: Holes, holes everwhere! But soon I can spray the primer layer, so I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Two stripes were needed at the doors. Just to make sure I dont forget how to scratchbuild.
