Excellent and quick work work Patrice. I can't get over the detail painting on the instrument panel, unbelievable.

Good morning Cookie

I must admit that I am very satisfied with the result of the painting on the Ip ..

I keep the Yahuu Model Ip for another Spit V ..

Big pieces fitted together and coming along nicely!

Good morning Jimmy

Yes I succeeded to fit together wings and fuselega but as usual with Sword I had to do some sanding and use some putty to get this result .. how I wish that Airfix had produce a Spit Vc ..

And it's a dessert Spit for sure now!

What color/brand/paint do you use for the underside? I recently build a V, and had to mix my own azure blue, but I like this shade better.

Good afternoon Jimmy

Thank you ..

Just like you did I mixed the Humbrol Blue 157 with Humbrol White 34 I found the 157 too "dark"...

I agree, HU 157 looks way too dark. I use an old pot of HU 89 enamel for mine

Good morning all

Yesterday I placed the decals

Don't worry about the upper wing roundel it is just a smal french roundel painted over the standard english roundel a very uncommon practice in 1943 ..
