Build #1 (how optimistic...): A Junkers divebomber in RLM 65/70/71 scheme. Sound familiar re my recent builds? As I got to like the combination in the Ju 88 STGB I decided to start this GB with something close to it, just minus 1 in the number. Since we have Stuka build already here, and plenty of Macchi and Spitfires, I thought I must balance the forces with some Luftwaffe stuff. So boring, you say. I´m travelling from A to Z, ending up in AZ, as there´s a A-cademy G-14 I´m building in GPW GB, a Z-vezda F-2 about to be built in Blitzbuild GB, before I allow myself to start 4 AZ- Gustavs in this MTO GB. I guess everyone understood I´m talking about Bf 109:s . But here´s the plan for a 2-4-6-8 trip around the Mediterranean in Gustavs! Pictures c/o AZ Model as I can´t do them better myself. The G-4 kit I already have but the rest are on their way from Praha to Lieto . 2! Option 2 has nice variety of colours and takes us to island Rhodes, Greece! 4! Option 1 is another brown/green plane and takes us to Afican continent in Bizerta, Tunis! 6! Option 2 takes us to largest island of the Mediterranean, Sicily in Italy! To balance all that grey, let´s do a R6 gunship; though option 3 has nicer rudder 8! It´s a sign that the end of the war at the Med is getting near, as option 3 takes us back to Italian mainland and the Anzio landing region - but I hope the trip will be worth it! That actually takes the Sicily off these AZ builds, we´ll see what I´ll end up with instead. G-6 Trop option 3 from Crete?
