shadowmare
Hi Best Mustang kit ever created. Wip thread here: http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=63538&page=1 I used: - Eduard photoetch and masks - HGW seatbelts - Yahu IP (outstanding!) - Kagero Pacific Mustangs decal set - Brassin wheels I added cables in engine, wheel bays and in cockpit. I made "uncle dog" antennas, but these are not entirely correct, maybe someday i will replace it with good ones from Tamiya Pacific P-51 kit. vh-bob
Truly a beautiful build of a particular Mustang I haven't seen modelled before. As has been said by others the NMF is excellent but raises the old question, all mustangs left the production line having the wings carefully filled and painted due to the need to keep the laminar flow airfoil correct. Unless your bird is based on a restored warbird, should the wing not be finished in a dull silver paint ?. Trev.

Yes, paint shouldn't be so shiny and wings were puttied, without doubt but i like rivets on model kits and nice metallic effects.
