This morning in Brigg, a Fiat Fullback.

A what? I hear you ask, it's a pick up.

In fact, what it is, is a badge engineered

Nissan Navara. Which begs the question, why?

Anyway, this one was a 66 reg, but already suffering

from Italian electrics because the indicator didn't work.

Mind you the driver seemed to be more interested in

conversing with the passenger than actually driving.

I had to look that up, what a cool looking little truck!

Early this afternoon on it's way toward Boston was

an old double decker bus in Barton livery.

Later on the A17 heading west was a partially restored

Mini pick up in blue on a trailer behind a van. Nice wheels,

but it will need wheelarch extensions!

Today making the school run, I passed a cherry Triumph Spitfire MKII. It was bone white with a light tan interior. The driver had his top down soaking up the not yet blistering southern sunshine. :like:

A few minutes later I had to run into town for some lumber and I passed a 70 Dodge Charger painted up like the General Lee. Then I passed a Chrysler 300D, painted up like Traveller. The bootlegger car that was the real life inspiration for the General Lee.

All afternoon I've been wondering if that was a coincidence. :worry:

And today, in Lincoln down an alleyway by the Castle

I saw the (an) A team van. Very shiny it was too.

Oh, and Yesterday just North of Pocklington I passed

a lovely old blue MG saloon of late thirties vintage.

Saw a nice 105E Anglia on Middlewich Road near Nantwich the other day . 2 tone blue with whitewall tyres - looked really smart .  Going to the other extreme of car ownership , I forgot to mention that late last year at the same place I saw a Cobra Daytona - presumably a replica of some sort , but a fabulous sight nonetheless .

Parked up in Kidderminster today, a Bentley Bentayga 4 x 4 with a personal numberplate starting with 1.

Without the personal numberplate, around £160,000 worth of car!

Went past a little garage today that had two

nice looking Rover P6's on the forecourt.

Somewhere out beyond Wragby.

This evening on the A15 just North of Lincoln

a black '57 or '58 Buick looking like a mobile jukebox!

During the last week:

An Aston Martin DB9 in our office car park,

Two Audi R8 cabriolets on the M4 between Chippenham and Bristol (a white one hood up, and a silver one hood down)

A V-reg Vauxhall Chevette on the M4 between Chippenham and Bath. It was easily holding its own with the traffic...

A Lamborghini Hurracan (or it might have been a Murcialago!) in lime green on the M3 in Hampshire

Not bad for a few days...

Cheers, Alan.

Out on my bike today, apart from a brand new Aston outside a village church and a TR6, about 20 Lotus cars passed the other way, from 60s Elan to Elises including an Esprit.  Most were the front drive Elans.   Must have been a club run?

On the way home this evening I saw a lovely dark green Triumph 1500 on the back of a recovery truck. It needed some work but looked complete and in good nick overall.

then just about to turn into the estate where I live, a pale metallic green Citroen DS went past, one of my all time favourite cars.

Just West of Kings Lynn early this afternoon,

a Karman Ghia two seater (1953 onwards)

in pale mustard with a white roof.

I know it's an early beetle in drag but they

look so much better. (shame most of them rusted).

I liked the KG 1500. Never saw one for years, but a cream one appears from time to time here.

This weekend was even better than the last one for classic cars!

The morning started with a 80s Alpha Romeo Spyder in blue crusing lazily by on a country road. Later we saw a red with white stripes Shelby Cobra, followed by a series 1 burgundy Chevy Camaro RS convertible.  There was also a ton of Corvettes running around from a late 60s convertible, a mid 80s black and silver Indy pace car, to a brand new red car fresh off the showroom floor.

Then to make the day even more odd on our return trip from lunch we saw a Chevy K5, Ford Bronco and some kind of Land Rover all from the 60s or 70s and all with their tops down. Heck the Bronco and Rover didn't even have their windshields up! :pilot:

P6 Rover TC in white. Not very exciting, but nice to see.

Bordfunker, that green DS wasn't being driven by Rosamund Pike was it? I know she owns one.

I've seen the DS in the car park of my local Morrisons, and I am sure I would have spotted Rosamund having googled her!
