Nigel Heath
I finished this yesterday. I used the ACE Ka 50 PE set for a few pieces and it had a few dimensional issues which I had to correct. Its done as a what if as the kit gives a quite different representation from a real Ka 52. I hope you like it: WIP can be found here: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235004867-172-amt-kamov-ka-52-hokum-b/

TonyTiger66
I agree with Ced. Details like the probes, the grab handles, the screen wiper really make a big difference. It's hard to believe it's 1/72, it looks big and purposeful! Best regards Tony :

Flankerman
The Ka-50-2 had various forms - this one has a 'bubble' canopy...... This publicity model has flat sided windows - a bit like Nigel's model...... This is how the mock-up appeared when I photographed it at MAKS 2003 (IIRC)? Note the fold-down GIATT 20mm cannon on its trapeze. Despite Kamov's and Rosoboronexport's best efforts, the Ka-50-2 proposal lost out to the Bell AH-1Z Cobra, IIRC.
