triumphfan
Very nice Seafire. Looks like you have done some mods to the original kit? Atb, Steve.
Plasto
Hi, Thanks for the kind words.... It's not Quite OOB... Basically I added in the camera port and Barracuda Casts camera bay insert. Used Barracuda's rocker covers and exhausts. Replaced the kit prop blades with the Barracuda blades intended for the Spitfire XIX and added some Ultracast wheels... Other tweaks were Eduard seat belts and brass tube for the cannon barrels. Xtradecal markings and some Mike Grant instrument decals. Painted in Mr.Colour Acrylics thinned with lacquer thinners... It's a great kit I'd happily build another one of the recent Airfix 48th Spits... HTH Plasto.
F-32
Cracking build, really cool. The red part of the roundel looks quite small, unusual!

Devilfish
Great job. This is a lovely kit, and you have executed it brilliantly. Can I ask about the roundels? The proportions are out (more like pre-war). Are they correct for this aircraft? It certainly makes it interesting.
abat
Looks great. Beautiful finish.
Plasto
I don't know much about the reasoning for the roundel sizing. The scheme is on the Xtradecal Seafire sheet. Like you I thought they looked good. Cheers Plasto

Navy Bird
Very nice indeed! You gotta love anything with Extra Dark Sea Grey on it, and you've done a great job. I love the folded wings. Now if Airfix would only put this out in the Gentleman's scale... Cheers, Bill
The Spadgent
Beautiful, I might do one of these next. I love what you did with the wings. John
