cruiserguy
Good Afternoon Everyone, I am building a late HMS Lowestoft for a friend, and the white metal castings for the seacat and other bits are not great. I'd like to ask if any of you have 700 scale Seacat launchers I could buy from you, I think WEM made them in packs of 4 before the company folded. In addition, I think I have enough bits and pieces in my spares stash for the other parts I need, but I'd like to ask if there is there any way I can lay my hands on a 700 scale 4.5 twin turret too. Best Wishes, Will.

Paul E
Will, Skywave produced a modern NATO weapons detail set at 1:700 several years ago. The set includes Seacat launchers and 4.5 Mk 6 turret. The gun is close to scale but the Seacat launcher is a little over but with a bit of judicious hacking comes up alright as seen in the picture which is from my Leander class conversion at 1:600 scale http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234976345-hms-phoebe-f42/ I have a spare gun and seacat launcher in my stash which you can have if you want. cruiserguy
Hi Mike and Paul, Cheers, I'll chase them up. I was looking at Shapeways Rothesay detail set. It looks really good but at £25.00 including p&p it's more expensive than the kit! Best Wishes, Will.
terryn
Will I was going to recommend the Shapeways set. I have the 1/500 version to use on my old Frog kit and ver nice it is to. Terry
cruiserguy
Hi Terryn, Thanks, I'll keep it in mind. In addition, sorry for the delay in replying, works has keep me too busy over the last week or so, and my building has come to a halt. Best Wishes, Will.
