Hi does anyone know the size of underwing codes that a Dakota at this time would have carried , are they 48 inch or larger as i'm looking without much luck for black code numbers 66 x2

Hi, F7F3p. I would think the underwing codes (serial) should be more than just two digits. Are you perhaps referring to the aircraft loading number as often carried on the fin?

Simple math... 2.3 cm = .9055"

If at 1/48 scale, that would equate to 43.46"

If at 1/72 scale, that would equate to 65.196"

Not sure what the actual spec says, but this is what the "KN5" that you have would be. I doubt you'll find decals to match the size exactly, so you may be better off replacing all of them with the closest size you can find.
