Can you identify this?

The oval logo on the rear arch of this Broadspeed Escort Mk1 eludes my searches. Can anyone identify it and hopefully point me at a decent reference.

Also some Broadspeed Escorts had a logo on the leading edge of the front wings, shape is a canted rectangle with rounded corners - any ideas?

Any help appreciated as my internet searches have proved fruitless.

'tis one of these:

..rather like the B_a_rmah Castrol as opposed to the correct B_u_rmah...

There's actually one below the Ferodo logo along the cockpit of Jackie Stewart's Matra on the cover of "Races, Faces Places: the Motor Racing Photography of Michael Cooper" which I pulled off the shelf to have a look at some period pics to see what other stickers were around at the time!

Have you got a reference picture that shows it at all?

Is it where the Motorcraft sticker is here:

Brilliant, yes that's it. I don't know why the sponsor decals are incorrect on these kits. I too had noticed 'Barmah', it's not the outgoing US President is it?! Another one is the 'Bardahl', nearest to this I can find is BARDAHL additives, but the font is slightly different and I can't find an example in blue on white.

The photos in 'Works Escorts in Detail' aren't clear enough to tell what all the sponsor decals are, but using educated guesswork has paid off for the majority, I'm now only searching for the ones on the corner of the f. wings. I don't think they are 'Motorcraft' due to the forward slope. As a fall back there are some Broadspeed cars without either the 'Roadholder' and '?' front wing decals, I'm just wanting to be thorough.

Thanks for the images they are just what I need.

'Tecalemit-Jackson', for the Broadspeed Escorts with1.3 litre engines had continuous-flow fuel injection from this company fitted, amongst other modifications according to the WEiD book. I found some info from another forum re this too.
