F1 Insider
It's been far too long, at least two years, but I've finally got back to me models. To get back into the swing I thought I'd start with a nice easy OOB build but already I've ordered the chrome/gold Hobby Design BBS wheels, from Hiroboy, because the set in the kit wouldn't pass muster. I don't plan on doing this as a detailed WIP but will periodically post progress as I go. Here's where I'm up to so far.... I'm aware the black round the Windows needs tidying up but I'm happy with how it's gone so far. Thanks for looking. F1 Insider
This weeks efforts have been spent mainly on the wheels. It's my first experience using Hobby Design products and I'm very impressed. Good quality casting. Very little flash, made all the more impressive given the complexity of the wheel design. The kit wheel is on the left, the Hobby Design version on he right. Chalk and cheese really, although I'm sure the kit version could scrub up quite nicely if you tried. Thanks for looking.
