Davide Calzolari Posted July 25, 2016 Share Posted July 25, 2016 hi, pix taken in various moment,by the way i got the tank built by a friend that was a classical sunday modeller:ive not modified it aside the cannon ,but colored it in something i thought could mask some errore done by my friend,: what is come out by me i think is not so bad,well i'm happy of the "resa", as we say in italian -pix taken in various moment,ive done various modifies to the tone of rust during the time-enamels humbrols , home mixes and a lot of sandign on dry paint + lot of "liquid brush"-no airbrush, use only brush 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I really like the colours. the rust, especially on the gun barrel is very impressive. I have a sudden image of this thing half buried in the side of a sand dune. Davide Calzolari Posted August 12, 2016 Author Share Posted August 12, 2016 thnx, i'll think to the diorama in a poland rural area post war for the rust:enamels gloss humbrols in various mix starting for a red and black + a tip of silver and some psot shading in matt insignia yellow + soem tear of matt orange--all given by notmal brush lost of post shading and liquid brush,(not dry brush,liquid brush = brush--+ the color 50% solid 50% liquid, lot of thinner in it) i prefere the "sky" of the turret as effect obtained Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
