Have a look at a Dewoitine 500/510, it has some similarities which can be the basis for more work.

The D.500/510 was was kitted by Heller, which was re-boxed by Smer, and a mixed media kit by Pavla

If only making the one, one trick would be to make bulkheads, plan view and profile view of the fuselage from sheet styrene, cut and assemble, with the opening for the cockpit. Detail the cockpit, then fill the fuselage with liquid foam http://www.homedepot.com/p/GREAT-STUFF-16-oz-Gaps-and-Cracks-Insulating-Foam-Sealant-162848/100003351?cm_mmc=Shopping%7CTHD%7CG%7C0%7CG-BASE-PLA-D22-Insulation%7C&gclid=Cj0KEQjwztG8BRCJgseTvZLctr8BEiQAA_kBD_3SzKhmz_5CD0DxAQ01QFEXDhbYkO9hbYdKrhVf5ncaAgW18P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.dssprayed through a straw. One of our local modelers uses this stuff to great effect on dioramas and as a filler. He says a little goes a very long way but is easy to sand.

Just a thought...
