wallyinoz
My outstanding run of luck of good weather at airshows was finally broken this weekend. Showers, low cloud and grey skies made photography very difficult, much adjustment of exposure settings, f stop shutter speed and iso was tried to get to get the aircraft reasonably exposed, with sharp images but with some prop blur evident... mixed results were achieved, the sky is mostly washed out and invisible but the subjects are mostly ok. some bad shots actually came out nice artisticly (to my taste anyway): a couple of those "artistic" ones..look good on a T shirt I reckon went up for a flight on this... it was like flying in a covered waggon! anyhoos, loads more shots in my Flikr pages many super large images available please use and enjoy but if you do pass them on please mention my ownership.

wallyinoz
Nice pics. Which Sea Fury is that wearing prototype colours??/ Hi Paul, Dunno sorry.. I just take pics of the aircraft! These types generally are not ones I build models of, my aviation photography is just another hobby Lovely photos. How was the show , did the new changes make any difference to the show , were the aircraft alot further away? hiya gunny, I went to Duxford last year and I detected no difference to the displays this year, I did overhear some conversations around me where it was said that the significant change was that if queues started forming on the adjacent motorway that the airshow displays had to stop! Well that did not happen on the Saturday so either there were no queues or the information was bs
