F-22 and F-35 at RIAT (more added 10th July)

The F-22 and F-35 look like no one bothered to rub down the joint lines between the top and bottom halves once they'd been glued together.

Thanks for the comments guys. I guess that we will all get used to the F-35. Does anyone remember the shock when Ford unveiled the Sierra?

Yes I do. I think Ford's adverts extolled its coefficient of something that I forget what it was called but it was supposed to prove that it slipped through the air more efficiently than any other car in its class thereby reducing fuel consumption.

I also remember my boss being awarded a Sierra company car after years of toiling away. He was like a dog with two tails when he took delivery. That would have been either 1987 or '88.

The photo's are great.

From side on the F-35 looks great with its wheels up and a pig with its wheels down...

Having said that, the front on shot of the F-35 with its landing light on makes the jet look properly nasty, a good look for for a combat jet.
