Seabo14
Hi, i'm currently in the process of building a small vignette for the GB, and have run into a small problem. Did British troops in Greece wear 8th army desert equipment, or standard Khaki battledress? Also, what figure sets could I use? Thanks in advance, Seabo14
Silver Fox
Seeing as no one has answered I'll start the ball rolling: The troops wore a mixture of desert uniform and battledress( service dress for the Anzacs) in the desert, remember it gets blinking cold at night there. Greece in spring can also be cold and the images I've seen seem to show the same mixture. Not sure want scale you want figures in so I can't help with that

I meant 1/72, thought I'd mentioned that, obviously didn't. So, DAK style uniform mixtures? Or full uniforms, with difference between individuals? Thanks, Seabo14
Silver Fox
More of the latter,an number of photos show full battledress or greatcoat but with sand painted helmets.
old thumper
Mostly Khaki uniforms were worn, not only in mainland Greece but on Crete also.
