Carius
HI folks, this is my SAS Jeep in North Africa vignette project. It is a excellent opportunity to let my finalized SAS Jeep more interesting: 1. Tamiya 35219 Willys Jeep MB + Legend LF 1017 SAS Jeep conversion set + 3 Italeri's Vickers .303 mg + one Academy's Browning AN M2 + many others details. 2. Verlinden palm tree. 3. Two Master Box soldiers. Cheers Edited October 29, 2016 by Carius 10

That's an impressive palm tree too. Not seen those - I've got a GB later this year where I could use one or two like that Looking forward to seeing this progress. Sgt.Squarehead
You are quite right, the panels don't seem to be visible in photos of Jeeps, but I've heard anecdotal evidence of their use first hand, from the horse's mouth (my father was friends with one of the original menbers of the regiment who settled down in Worcester), I suppose this might refer to the period when SAS teams were inserted by the LRDG?
